Communications Specialist
As a passionate STEM educator and Communications Specialist at Science Systems and Applications, Inc. (SSAI), I’m on a mission to open doors in STEM—creating opportunities for all learners to thrive, contribute, and feel seen in the world of science and technology. My journey began with Hyperlexia—a form of autism that made traditional education a challenge. But when I was introduced to astronomy and environmental science, STEM became my sanctuary and my launchpad. Today, I use my voice to empower others through podcasting, digital storytelling, and strategic social media outreach. I’ve spoken on global stages like the United Nations, created STEM learning tools for the Virginia Space Flight Academy in partnership with NASA, and continue to develop engaging content that builds curiosity and connection. With a strong foundation in curriculum design, digital media, and public engagement, I work to bridge the gap between complex science and public understanding—sparking inspiration in classrooms, communities, and the next generation of change-makers.
Currently pursuing my Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with a STEM focus and the NASA Endeavor Certificate, I’m committed to creating highways of opportunity for all learners. Because to me, STEM isn’t just a subject—it’s a movement. And the sky? That’s just the beginning.
